Terms of Service
The rules for using DP Social.
The service
DP Social, operated by Digital Paradise Ltd., lets you create, schedule and publish content to social media accounts you connect. By creating an account or using DP Social, you agree to these terms.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for the team members you add.
- You must have the right to manage every social account or Page you connect.
YouTube
DP Social uses YouTube API Services. If you connect a YouTube channel, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Your content
- You own the content you publish through DP Social and are responsible for it.
- Your content must follow the law and the rules of each platform you publish to, including Meta's, YouTube's and TikTok's terms and community standards.
- You give us permission to store and transmit your content only as needed to publish it for you.
Third-party platforms
When you connect an account, you also agree to that platform's terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service for YouTube, and the terms of Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Telegram.
Plans, free trial, renewals and refunds
- Free trial: each new customer can use one 7-day free trial with Starter limits after verifying their email address. No payment card is needed and you are never charged automatically when the trial ends. When it ends, publishing and scheduling pause until you choose a paid plan; your content is kept.
- Paid plans: Starter, Business and Agency are billed in US dollars, monthly or yearly in advance, through Stripe. Paid access begins after your payment is confirmed. Prices and plan limits are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Taxes may apply.
- Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel.
- Cancellation: you can cancel any time from Billing & plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then and are not charged again. You can undo a pending cancellation before it takes effect.
- Plan changes: upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period; if your usage is above the new plan’s limits, you’ll need to reduce it before adding more.
- Refunds: because you can try DP Social free before paying and cancel at any time, payments are generally non-refundable, including for partial periods, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law. Contact support@digitalparadise.ca if you believe you were charged in error.
- Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and publishing pauses until the payment method is updated. Your content is kept.
- Fair use: “unlimited posts” is subject to each social network’s API limits and our acceptable use rules. We may limit accounts that abuse the service or the free trial.
No media backups
Subscriptions and payments
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled.
- If a payment fails or a subscription is cancelled, scheduled publishing may pause until the account is active again.
- Advertising spend on any platform is paid by you directly to that platform and is separate from DP Social fees.
Availability
We work to publish posts on time, but publishing depends on third-party platforms that can change, delay or reject posts. We do not guarantee that every post will be published at the exact scheduled time, and we are not responsible for actions taken by those platforms.
Acceptable use
Do not use DP Social to send spam, mislead people, violate others' rights, or attempt to access accounts you do not manage. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Liability
DP Social is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, Digital Paradise Ltd. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost content, or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop using DP Social and request deletion of your data at any time. We may end or suspend access for breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
